Strawberry rhubarb pie

Ingredients

  • Pie crust with topper
  • 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 cups chopped rhubarb
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 Tablespoon butter

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cornstarch, sugar, salt and nutmeg. Add strawberries and rhubarb. Toss and let stand 15 minutes.

Pour mixture into pie plate and cover with crust topper. Bake for 1 hour. Remove and let cool for 15 minutes.
